Track Name: There's No Perfect Time
I keep tryin' to tell you something,
My words won't come together.
Timing's always been my problem,
I never find the right time.

When I'm right, I feel so wrong,
When I'm off, I feel so on.
There's no perfect time.

I keep tryin' to tell you one thing,
It's hard to know where to begin.
Once I think I've found the moment,
I get turned around again.

When I'm right, I feel so wrong,
When I'm off, I feel so on.
There's no perfect time.

I make a change, I make a move,
But I never can hit the groove.
Always a day late, a dollar short,
On a point that I can't prove.

When I'm right, I feel so wrong,
When I'm off, I feel so on.
There's no perfect time.
Track Name: Burn This House Down
Free woman leads a pack of hounds,
Hungry all the time for a change to come around,
Free spirit of a darker place,
Buries all her pain deeper in this space.

She don't like it, when you turn away,
You'll never understand her pain.
Looks so lovely, so much to explain,
She got fire for this place.

She gon' burn this house down.

Long-time explorer of the truth in each day,
Hardened by the years she's carried her mistake,
She got fire, fire, fire all around.
Still lookin' for a drug you can't buy in any town.

She don't like it, when you turn away,
You'll never understand her pain.
Looks so lovely, so much to explain,
She got fire for this place.

She gon' burn this house down.

Your eyes drawn deeper to her pale skin,
Mind is put at ease by the presence of her old soul.
Your ears drawn closer to her soft voice,
Open up the long tale,
Now she's on a roll.

She gon' burn this house down.
Track Name: I Saw The Fall
I saw the fall,
I watched you fade away.
I'd say I love you,
You tried to tell me,
You did, too.

I could stay here,
But that wouldn't fix us now,
Caz you're moving upward,
And I'm moving onward.
That's all.

I saw the fall,
We could blame both you and me,
Caz we need somethin' we cannot give anymore.

We both changed,
We're on our separate ways,
You'll go upward,
and I'll go onward.
That's all.

I could build a better life for you and me,
But should I hold you close,
Or should I set you free.
I could try to make you come back once again,
But would you love me even then?
I saw the fall.

I saw the fall,
How distant we have grown,
There's no longer any thread to hold us close.

I can't stay,
Caz you've got too much on your mind,
I can't help you,
and I won't hold you back this time.

We could find a way to close this great divide,
Should we hold on more, give it one more try,
I could try to make you love me like before,
But you won't love me anymore.

I saw the fall,
I watched you fade away.
I'd say I love you,
You tried to tell me,
You did, too.
Track Name: Candyman
Candyman lived a sweet old life,
In a candy world with his sugar wife,
But still, he cried at night.
Living life through his candy stand,
Where his chocolate bars were his only friends,
His life, lingered on.

Candyman tried to hide the pain,
But his candy world always stayed the same,
And still he would cry.
Then one day, when his wife was gone,
He just ran away from the candy town,
Where life should have smiled.

When you run away you fall down,
It's so hard for you to leave this town.

Candyman walked a couple miles,
'Till his lollipops were licked up dry,
And sat down to cry.
Looked ahead as if peppermint,
Had just knocked his carmel apple head,
His eyes opened wide.

He got lost in his candy town,
Caz he never thought to look around,
His whole sour life.
Chocolate bars are a certain bliss,
But a one track life is a certain miss,
On all that's around.

When you run away you fall down,
It's so hard for you to leave this town.
